Merfolk

Size: 2m (6'6")
Weight: 150kg (330 lbs.)
Lifespan: 25 years
Maximum life expectancy: 60 years
Human-shaped cetaceans, the merfolk can hold their breath for up to 20 minutes. They resemble overweight humans with swim fins on their hands and feet. The fins on their hands limits tool use, but does not completely prevent it. Merfolk have thick, blue-gray skin, and dark gray or dark green hair.
They can survive out of the water for several hours provided they are kept cool and wet, however their legs can not support their weight.
Language
While the Merfolk have the physical capability to speak the languages of other cultures, they are generally not inclined to do so.
Religion
It is assumed that the Merfolk have one or more religions, but they do not discuss it outside of their race and have no written religious texts to examine.
