Most commonly humans speak Kotha-Baran, though they may speak Narush or Shen as a secondary - or on rare occasions, primary - language.

Religion - Rotha Nam

While the worship of the Pantheon historically had a polytheistic basis, the religion has evolved over the past several centuries to a form of monotheism where the various symbolic aspects of a single god have specific names and associated rituals.

For marriage purposes, an individual must select a partner from outside of both of their parents' lineages.

Upon becoming an adult (usualy at the age of 16), an individual chooses to be part of either their father's or mother's lineage. This choice is irrevocable and determines inheritance.

Upon the death of a parent, that parent's half of the property passes to any children who have claimed that parent's lineage. If no child has claimed a deceased parent's lineage then the property passes to the nearest relative in that parent's lineage.

Gender Roles

Most of the human cultures have the reminants of proscribed gender roles but aren't surprised to see people living outside of those roles. There are some parts of Losuria which are more restrictive, and others which have eliminated gender roles entirely. Similarly, the reaction and acceptance of people of non-binary genders varies by culture.
